Citadel Ark Museum of History

"Ark" fortress  is the most ancient monument of archeology, history and culture. In the ancient residence of the rulers of the country you will see: the throne room (17^th century⁾, the palace mosque (19^th century), the courtyard of the chief minister Kushbegi (19^th century), the courtyard of greetings and the stable yard (19^th century).

In museum you can see:

·          The masterpieces of the Bukhara Museum.

The most interesting exhibits are: military equipment (16^th-17^th centuries), a set of clothes of the leader of the Sufi order "Jandi" (19^th century), the throne of the Bukhara emir (19^th century), ceremonial clothes of the emirs of Bukhara (19^th century), coins of the ancient and medieval world of silver, unique finds of archeologists from the ancient cities-fortresses of Varakhsha and Paikend, etc.
